Néstor Hugo Navarro

Néstor Hugo Navarro (born March 26, 1934 in Cabildo) is the former bishop of Alto Valle del Río Negro .

Life

Néstor Hugo Navarro was ordained a priest on December 21, 1968 for the Archdiocese of Bahía Blanca .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on April 15, 1998 auxiliary bishop in Bahía Blanca and titular bishop of Rotdon . The Archbishop of Bahía Blanca, Rómulo García , donated him episcopal ordination on June 1st of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Jorge Mayer , Senior Archbishop of Bahía Blanca, and José María Arancedo , Bishop of Mar del Plata .

On March 19, 2003 he was appointed Bishop of Alto Valle del Río Negro . Navarro was a member of the Economic Council of the Argentine Bishops' Conference.

On February 10, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
