Nödinge-Nol is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Västra Götalands län and the historic province of Västergötland . The place is the capital of the municipality of Ale .

The place consists of the three former independent villages Alafors, Nödinge and Nol, which have grown together over time. Alafors was built around an industrial settlement, Nol around the stop on the Gävle - Falun - Gothenburg railway line ( Bergslagsbanan ), and Nödinge is a former church village . The municipal administration building is located in the Alafors district. The Göta älv runs west of the village .
