NYC 22 is an American television series that premiered on April 15, 2012 on CBS . The series consists of 13 episodes in one season, because the broadcasting station refrained from a sequel due to low ratings and the series, which had already started moderately below its broadcasting, took the program out of the program and the remaining episodes only sent out in the summer program. The German premiere was planned for September 1, 2015 on Sat.1 emotions , but was replaced at short notice by the series Crisis . Instead, the German first broadcast took place on November 5, 2016 on the Swiss broadcaster Puls 8 .

action

In New York, six young police officers start their everyday life in the big city immediately after their training at the police school.

Jennifer 'White House' Perry was a volleyball star in college. Ray 'Lazarus' Harper has very good contacts within the area due to his previous work as a news reporter. Tonya Sanchez, on the other hand, comes from a family with a criminal past and therefore does not have an easy time in her new environment. Kenny McClaren, on the other hand, comes from a family of police officers and had not really intended to take on this job as well. Ahmad 'Kiterunner' Kahn comes from Afghanistan, Jayson Toney used to be a very good basketball player, but didn't make it into the NBA.

Under the direction of the ice-cold training officer Daniel 'Yoda' Dean, they now have to prove themselves in the harsh reality of Manhattan.
