Ralph W. Hemecker (born before 1991) is an American film and television director .

Life

Ralph Hemecker began his career in the early 1990s as a television director for the series Palm Beach Duo and Renegade - Merciless Hunt . His film debut followed in 1994 with the thriller Dead On with Matt McCoy and Shari Shattuck in the leading roles. For the next four years he directed almost exclusively television series, including Dead at 21 - Deadly Dreams (1994), Millennium - Fear Your Neighbor As Yourself (1996, 1998) and The X Files - The FBI's Creepy Cases (1998) . After his second feature film, American Dragons (1998), he directed the 2000 fantasy - Action - TV movie Witchblade - The weapon of the gods . Due to the great success, Hemecker's idea resulted in the eponymous series of the cable broadcaster TNT , for which he was involved in the script for 15 of the 23 episodes produced. Until 2010 he directed other television films such as Nora Roberts - entwined ways , Nora Roberts - Mitten der Nacht and the Disney XD Original Movie Skyrunners .

Most recently he directed several episodes of the series Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York , Once Upon a Time - Once Upon a Time ... and its spin-off Once Upon a Time in Wonderland .
