Stark Bunker Sands (born September 30, 1978 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American film and stage actor .

Life

Like his grandfather, Stark Sands was born an identical twin and has an older sister. Sands has been working as an actor since he was 13, although initially only in the school theater of Highland Park High School . After graduating in 1997, Sands enrolled at the University of Southern California , where he studied acting and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts .

Stark Sands began his career as a professional actor relatively late compared to other colleagues. In 2002, at the age of 24, he made his debut as a film and television actor in a double episode of the television series Six Feet Under . His youthful appearance benefits him because even today, in his early 30s, he embodies character roles who are themselves in their early or mid-20s. His better-known films include American Princess from 2004 and Flags of Our Fathers , in which Sands was seen in 2006. But also in television series, including Nip / Tuck - Beauty Has Its Price or American Dad Sands was able to convince. In 2008 he appeared in the miniseries Generation Kill in the role of US Marine Nate Fick .

Stark Sands married British journalist Gemma Clarke on July 9, 2011. The wedding took place at Bovey Castle in southern England. On May 14, 2015, their first child, a son, was born.
