Nadia Kailouli (born August 1, 1983 in Wermelskirchen ) is a German journalist and TV presenter of Moroccan origin.

life and career

Nadia Kailouli's parents come from Morocco . From 1995 to 2001 she attended the municipal secondary school in Wermelskirchen.

In 2005 Kailouli moved from Cologne to Nuremberg , where she made her first public appearance in the Middle Franconia South studio. In 2007 the youth magazine on3-südwild was looking for youth presenters. The selection between the approximately 400 applicants was staged as a casting show that was broadcast as part of the program. Kailouli was one of the winners and became an employee of Bayerischer Rundfunk . In January 2011 she switched to the Einsfestival station , where she hosted Einsweiter , the “magazine for change”. The show was discontinued in 2013.

Kailouli is part of STRG_F , a YouTube offer of the content network Funk , which is operated jointly by ARD and ZDF . She works as a presenter at Tagesschau24 and works as a freelance reporter for the NDR , including the political magazine Panorama . Since March 2020 she has also moderated the ARD midday magazine .

In March 2020 she was awarded the Grimme Prize in the “Information and Culture” category for her documentary SeaWatch3 , which she produced together with Jonas Schreijäg for the NDR format Panorama .
