Nahuel Häfliger

Jan Nahuel Häfliger (* 1987 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is a Swiss actor .

Life

Half of the man, who also has Argentine and Spanish citizenship, grew up in Basel , where he graduated from high school . From August 2007 to July 2011 he completed his acting training at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich . As a scholarship holder of the Armin Ziegler Foundation in Zurich , he studied at the University of Music and Theater in Munich .

During his training he already had his first theater engagements at the Metropoltheater Munich and the Stadttheater Oblomow in Munich. At the Metropoltheater he appeared in stage versions of the Lars von Trier films Dogville and Manderlay in 2009 . In 2011 he worked at the Prinzregententheater in Munich in Kurt Weill's music theater piece Street Scene , an opera / drama production (director: Gil Mehmert). In 2011 he was an actor in the German-Spanish theater production “Malinche - Ein Herrenabend” (director: Daphne Ebner). In 2013 he received the ensemble award at the 31st Bavarian Theater Days in Nuremberg for “Malinche - A Gentlemen's Evening” .

From 2011/12 until the end of the 2014/15 season he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the children's and youth theater “ Theater Junge Generation ” (tjg) in Dresden . There he played u. a. Dr. Robinson in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (2011), Werther in The Sorrows of Young Werther (D: Dominik Günther ), Anton in Pünktchen meets Anton (2014-2015), Juro in Krabat and the title role in Robin Hood (2015). In 2014 he received the Solo Award of the 8th Saxon Theatertreffen for his role as Rick in Cherryman chases Mr. White .

Since the 2015/16 season he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar . There he has so far taken on Manuele Giri in Der aufhaltsame Aufstieg des Arturo Ui und Pisto in the world premiere of Luft nach oben by Dirk Laucke (based on motifs by Jura Soyfers Astoria ).

Häfliger previously had small roles in short films and movies, including a. directed by Tim Trageser and Jeanine Meerapfel . In November he starred in the ZDF television film Ein Sommer in Barcelona , alongside Sabine Postel and Sinja Dieks ; he played the Spanish banker's son Emilio de Alvarado.

From 2010 to 2013 he performed the Spanish recital “Te quiero, no te quiero más, te quiero ...” and gave concerts a. a. in Munich and Basel. Häfliger is also the singer of the rock band [Xa'leo]. In addition to Swiss citizenship, he also has Argentine and Spanish citizenship. Häfliger currently lives (as of November 2015) in Weimar .
