Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters (NEFF; German about Namibian fighters for economic freedom ), more rarely Namibian Economic Freedom Fighters , is a Marxist political party in Namibia and was founded on June 25, 2014. It is considered a direct offshoot of the Economic Freedom Fighters under Julius Malema from South Africa .
The party presents itself as a radical - socialist to party. It rejects foreign interests in Namibia and demands that the country and the economy be indigenized . Homosexuality is expressly frowned upon in all forms.
The party is chaired by former SWAPO party member Epafras Mukwiilongo .
The party first ran for the National Assembly in 2014 and ran a presidential candidate. In the 2019 election , she won two seats in the National Assembly for the first time.
