SC Neustadt
The SC Neustadt , full name: Swimming Club 1900 eV Neustadt / Weinstrasse , short form SCN, is a sports club in the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse .
The association was founded in 1900. In 1901 he joined the Southwest German Swimming Association.
The SCN's water polo players have been playing in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga for years , from 2012 to 2018 in the 1st Bundesliga group B. From the 2018/2019 season in the 2nd Bundesliga.
The club also has several swimming teams, the swimmers of the performance team have participated several times in the German championships and the German championships. In 2017, Fabio Stief was able to win a complete set of medals at the German year championships. In 2018, he defended his title in the 200-meter chest and secured the silver medal in the 100-meter chest. In 2019, for the third time in a row, he won silver on the 100-meter chest and gold on the 200-meter chest.
The SCN has been a member of the German Triathlon Union since 1998 .
