Nangō ( Japanese 南 郷 町 , - chō ) was a city in Tōda-gun in the Japanese prefecture of Miyagi .
history
The Mura Nangō ( 南 郷 村 , -mura ) was appointed to Chō on July 1, 1954.
On January 1, 2006, Nangō merged with the Chō Kogota ( 小牛 田 町 , -chō ) to form the new Machi Misato ( 美 里 町 , -machi ).
