The Naon is a river in France that runs in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the south-eastern part of the Sologne landscape , generally drains west to south-west, flowing through several small lakes and, after a total of 34 kilometers , flows into the Sauldre as a left tributary at the hamlet of Sauldre , in the municipality of Selles-Saint-Denis . On its way, the Naon crosses the Loir-et-Cher and Cher departments .
