Nastassja Valerjeuna Kaschtanava ( Belarusian Настасся Валер'еўна Каштанава , also Anastassija [ Анастасія ], internationally after the English translation Nastassia Kashtanava ; born  January 14, 1989 ) is a Belarusian athlete who specializes in the disc throw .

Career

Nastassja Kaschtanawa took part in the World Junior Championships in Athletics in 2008 in Bydgoszcz, Poland, for the first time in a major international competition, which she finished in eighth place with 49.31 m.

A year later, Kaschtanawa finished sixth in the U23 squad of the 2009 Winter Throwing European Cup in Los Realejos on the Canary Island of Tenerife with 51.05 m, before she finished sixth in the 2010 Winter Throwing European Cup in Arles , France, in the same age group with 54.65 m finished third. Three months later, Kashtanava was eighth at the European Athletics Team Championships in Bergen, Norway, with 52.78 m.

After reaching third place in the U23 competition at the 2011 European Winter Throwing Cup in the Bulgarian capital Sofia , where Kashtanava threw the discus 53.80 m, she won the U23 European Athletics Championships in Ostrava , Czech Republic, which was soon to take place 56.25 m behind the German Julia Harting (59.60 m) the silver medal. Kashtanawa's participation in the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen , China, ended in eleventh place with 52.00 m.

In 2013, the European Athletics Team Championships in Gateshead , England, came to an end for Kashtanava with 56.40 m in sixth, 2015 in Cheboksary, Russia, with 46.45 m in twelfth. In 2014, Kashtanava was celebrated as the Belarusian champion in Hrodna with 52.74 m.
