Natalie Gohrke (born January 7, 1983 in Herne ) is a German national basketball player . Gohrke was the goalkeeper of the youth national team in water polo , but had to give up this sport in 1997 due to a chlorine allergy.

She then began playing basketball at CityBasket Recklinghausen and won the German A-Youth Championship together with her team in 2001 . In 2002 the A youth runner-up followed. When her club withdrew from the Bundesliga in 2002, Gohrke followed her coach Donato Briganti to BG Dorsten .

With Dorsten she became German U20 Champion (under 20s) in the 2002/03 season. Gohrke was also used in the Bundesliga team Dorstens and was able to win the German Cup and the German runner-up with her team in the 2003/04 season .

In 2005 she was appointed to the senior national team and made her debut on July 18, 2005 in the game against Poland. After the 2006/07 season her club BG Dorsten got out of the women's basketball league and the 1.80 meter long Gohrke moved to BC Marburg with her teammate Margret Skuballa . She was a player in the German national team at the 2007 European Championship in Chieti ( Italy ). Since 2008 she has officially been studying veterinary medicine at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen .

Gohrke was reassigned to the national team in 2008, but suffered a broken scaphoid bone in his right hand during a preparatory game for the European championship qualification, could not contest the European championship qualification and was out of the Bundesliga for 8 match days.

In the 2009/2010 season she took 3rd place in the German championship with BC pharmaserv Marburg, and 3rd place in the German Cup competition in 2010/2011. In 2014 she ended her basketball career.
