Natalja Gennadjewna Schechodanowa ( Russian Наталья Геннадьевна Шеходанова , English transcription Natalya Shekhodanova ; born December 29, 1971 in Krasnoyarsk , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian hurdler who specialized in the 100-meter distance .
In 1996, 2000 and 2003 she became a national champion. At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , she originally finished seventh, but was subsequently disqualified for doping with stanozolol .
After the suspension, which then became due, she qualified for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , where she reached the semi-finals.
At the World Athletics Championships 2001 in Edmonton , she was eliminated in the preliminary stages, at the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis , she reached the semifinals.
On February 22, 2004 she was tested positive for stanozolol again during a doping control and was banned for life as a repeat offender.
