Nathaniel Will (born February 16, 1989 in Lelystad , Flevoland ) is a Dutch football player .

Career

Will played in Lelystad's youth in '67 before moving to the youth department of AFC Ajax in Amsterdam when he was twelve . At the age of 18 he received his first contract with the Amsterdamers, which ran until June 30, 2010. During this time he was unable to assert himself so far that he moved up to the first division squad, but played regularly for the second team Jong Ajax , who became champions of the junior round in 2009 and in which he wore the captain's armband several times in the 2009/10 season.

For the 2010/11 season , Will, who is only 1.77 meters tall, moved to the honorary division N.EC in Nijmegen, where one of his uncles had already worked as a team doctor . Here he met his Jong Ajax teammate John Goossens again. With the Nijmegen he made his debut at the beginning of the season against VVV-Venlo on August 7, 2010 in the Eredivisie, then quickly won a regular place and displaced Niels Wellenberg . On November 6, 2010 he scored his first competitive game goal for NEC; in the 4-1 away win in Doetinchem at De Graafschap , he scored on presentation by Lasse Schøne in the 21st minute to make it 0-1. Overall, he came in this season, the NEC finished in eleventh, 28 times in the league and in the only cup game.

In the 2011/12 season, Will had to sit out several times due to knee and ankle injuries and was only used 15 times in the league and in one of four cup games by mid-March. He lost his regular place temporarily to Zoltán Szélesi , but won him back in the second half of the Hungarian. His contract with NEC runs until the end of the 2011/12 season.
