The Göreme Historical National Park ( Turkish Göreme Tarihî Millî Parkı ) is a protected area in Turkey . It was designated in 1985 and is 95.72 km² in size. The park is one of two world natural heritage sites in Turkey . In the center of the park is Goreme , which is known for its cave architecture and tuff rock formations.
