The national road 3A ( Chinese 國 道 三號 甲 線 , Pinyin Guódào sān hào jiǎ xiàn , English National freeway 3A ), also Taipei connecting line ( Chinese 台北 聯絡 線 , Pinyin Táiběi liánluò xiàn ) is a highway in Taiwan . As an east-west route in the north of the country, it serves as a motorway feeder for National Road 3 in the capital Taipei . The highway is 5.6 kilometers long.

National Road 3A begins in Taipei in Da'an District and then heads east through two tunnels. The road crosses the municipality Wenshan where they shortly thereafter the National Road 3 crosses and then in the district Shenkeng of New Taipei ends. The extension of the road continues as district road 106 to Autobahn 5 .
