Harz Nature Park / Saxony-Anhalt (Mansfelder Land)
The Harz / Saxony-Anhalt (Mansfelder Land) nature park is a nature park in the Mansfeld-Südharz district . It was officially proclaimed the seventh nature park in the country on December 20, 2012 by Environment Minister Hermann Onko Aeikens at a ceremony in Arnstein . The regional association Harz e. V. in Quedlinburg .
The nature park covers an area of approx. 25,600 hectares in the Lower Harz and eastern Harz foreland. In the north it borders on the Harz / Saxony-Anhalt Nature Park, founded in 2003 and almost of the same name .
