Necat Aygün (born February 26, 1980 in Munich ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The son of Turkish parents and a native of Munich, Necat Aygün first played in the youth of Wacker Munich. At the age of 12 he switched to the Munich “Löwen”. After - as he said - careful consideration, he decided on German citizenship and played u. a. several times in the U-21 . In 2001 he was a regular player in the defense of the “Löwen” amateur team in the Regionalliga Süd and also proved his offensive strengths with five goals in the season. In the spring of 2001 he received a professional contract, but without ever playing with the professionals of the "Löwen".

For the 2001/02 season Aygün accepted an offer from Beşiktaş Istanbul , where Christoph Daum was coach, and was loaned to Istanbul for a year - his coach Werner Lorant did not allow more . In the next season he came back to the "lions", which have since been trained by Peter Pacult .

Since Aygün did not appear in Pacult's plans for a new "Löwen" team and should be loaned out again (to the Stuttgarter Kickers ), he decided at the beginning of 2003 to switch to SpVgg Unterhaching , just in time to get Hachinger's promotion back to the 2nd Bundesliga to support the defensive.

At SpVgg Unterhaching, Necat Aygün had bad luck with injuries in the two following seasons. As a result, he came only to 18 or 13 missions and was used alternately in defense and midfield. In the 2005/06 season he succeeded Miroslav Stević as captain and played the dominant role in defense since the third match day in central defense. At the same time he had regained his old scoring risk and scored five goals on matchday 15. In January 2006 he moved to MSV Duisburg in the 1st Bundesliga.

In January 2008 he was loaned to FC Ingolstadt for six months before he later signed a contract with Upper Bavaria until 2010. But he only stayed there until the summer of 2009, after which he was without a club for six months. From January to May 2010 Aygün played in the 3rd division at SV Sandhausen .

After training with the TSV 1860 Munich team for several weeks in the summer of 2010, he signed a one-year contract there in August. He was primarily intended as a support for the U23 in the Regionalliga and ran for them three times in August. In the last of these three games he was sent off with a red card . On the 2nd matchday of the 2nd Bundesliga on August 29th he was also in the 18-man squad of professionals. After the suspension, he was no longer used until winter due to back problems. On January 19, he was part of the second division team for the second time in the season at the game in Osnabrück and came - 11 years after he first belonged to the squad of the sixties - to his first appearance for the Munich Lions when he came on in the closing stages has been. As a result, he sat on the bench several times and was substituted on two more times. At the game in Bielefeld on matchday 26 he was on the starting line-up for the first time. He remained in central defense until the end of the season, only having to sit out one game due to muscular problems. In the game at Hertha BSC on matchday 32, he scored his first goal for TSV 1860, having previously scored an own goal in the same game. On the last day of the match he scored his second goal.

In the 2012/13 season , Aygün was initially used regularly in central defense, until the winter break he played 15 times. Then the new coach Alexander Schmidt sent him back to the second team, which now competed as a nominal U21 in the new Bavarian regional league. With the little lions he was champion of the Regionalliga Bayern. In the upcoming promotion games against SV Elversberg , he scored two goals, but the team was defeated by the Saarlanders.

After separating from Gerhard Poschner , Aygün took on the interim role of sports director at TSV 1860 Munich on July 30, 2015, before Oliver Kreuzer was installed as the new sports director on November 5. After that, Aygün did not work for a professional club before he took up a position as technical manager for sports at the second division club Karlsruher SC on February 1, 2020 .
