Necati Arabaci

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Coskun Necati (Neco) Arabaci (born February 14, 1972 in Cologne ) is a German-Turkish businessman, serious criminal and functionary of the Hells Angels .

Life

In the 1990s, Arabaci gained influence over the red light district in Cologne through bouncers who were subordinate to him in the structures of the Hells Angels . From this he made considerable income. He participated in brothels , including the Babylon brothel in Elsdorf near Cologne and Wiago in Leverkusen , and also in brothels on Mallorca .

Disguised as a fruit dealer, Arabaci has been controlling the most powerful group of pimps in Cologne's red-light district since 1999. He cashed in brothels through straw men. His influence extended to Frankfurt am Main and the Ruhr area . In 2002 he was arrested by a police task force under the direction of Chief Public Prosecutor Jürgen Botzem, who was investigating him. In the subsequent trial on September 30, 2004, Arabaci was sentenced to nine years in prison for ringleading a criminal organization , extortion , pimping and serious human trafficking .

He went to prison in Bochum prison . Here conversations Arabacis were overheard. In 2003 he is said to have hired a killer to murder the responsible public prosecutor. Therefore, the Cologne public prosecutor made an application for subsequent preventive detention , they withdrew again for lack of conclusive facts of 2006. 2007 Arabaci was after serving of just one third of the sentence in the Turkey deported. This was made on condition that he never return to Germany. For "security reasons", Chief Public Prosecutor Botzem, who had been written unfit for duty in October 2004 due to psychological problems, preferred to go abroad with his wife for some time and constantly change his whereabouts, despite personal protection and structural security measures at his home.

In 2010 Arabaci was the president of the "Hells Angels MC Nomads Turkey". At the end of 2013 it was reported that a ten-person unit of this group had formed under his leadership in East Westphalia . Investigators assume, according to press reports , that Arabaci is pursuing organized crime from Izmir via the structures of the Hells Angels into Germany and has "more power than ever before". In November 2013 it was reported that after the arrest of the Hanoverian brothel operator and Hells Angels functionary Frank Hanebuth , Arabaci was being treated as the "new European boss of the Hells Angels". In December 2013, a press release was published according to which Arabaci entered Germany more often using forged documents.

Media referring to Spanish investigators and investigation files reported from mid-2013 about the “godfather of Cologne” that he had “expanded a network of brothels and prostitutes across Europe” through intermediaries. In addition, he is said to be active in the global drug trade and make a fortune with heroin from South America. He is also said to have tried to launder a large amount of money from drug and arms deals through foreign banks . In December 2013, the news magazine Der Spiegel , citing the suspicions of investigators, reported that “exile regent” Necati Arabaci, via the Hells Angels MC Nomads Turkey group, had attacked a Krefeld branch of the Hells Angels and their leader Turan U in a “fratricidal war” ., called "Taki".

In January 2014, the Hells Angels expert Stefan Schubert expressed his assessment of the expulsion of Arabacis that this measure had proven to be disadvantageous because it could have promoted the expansion of the rockers. Overall, the situation - despite the new leadership role ascribed to Arabaci - is currently "not really clear": In the Ruhr area, the Hells Angels are increasingly being attacked by rockers from the Satudarah MC ; A counter-movement is growing in Frankfurt, turning away from criminal machinations.

It is said that Necati Arabaci has approved a fraternization with the United Tribuns .

An EU-wide arrest warrant against Arabaci has been in place since 2015.

Arabaci was arrested in Turkey in June 2018 and released from custody in September 2018 for lack of evidence. In July 2020, Arabaci was arrested again in Turkey.
