Necker is a village in the communities of Neckertal and Oberhelfenschwil in the Toggenburg constituency of the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland .
Necker is located in the Neckertal at around 630 meters above sea level. M. on the municipal area of Neckertal and Oberhelfenschwil, with the population divided into about one third Neckertal and two thirds Oberhelfenschwil. For the most part, the Necker River forms the border.
In the Necker the streets Brunnadern - Ganterschwil cross along the Necker and Oberhelfenschwil –Ebersol– Degersheim . Necker is located directly below the St. Gallen – Rapperswil railway line , but does not have its own train station. Access to public transport is via the Dietfurt –Oberhelfenschwil – Brunnadern-Neckertal post bus line.
The upper school of the lower Neckertal is located in Necker . Schoolchildren from Oberhelfenschwil, Brunnadern , Mogelsberg , Nassen and Ebersol attend the upper school in Necker. Necker's primary school students attend the school in Brunnadern.
