The Nederlandse Klim- en Bergsport Vereniging (NKBV, German: Dutch Climbing and Mountaineering Association ) is the only significant Dutch alpine association and was formed in 1998 from the merger of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Alpen Vereniging (KNAV) with the Nederlandse Bergsport Vereniging (NBV, until 1996 : OeAV , section Holland ).
Despite the great distance to the Alps, he maintained next to a hut in the Ardennes , the Tukhut in Ferrières (Belgium) , until 2009 the Wangenitzsee hut in the Schober group .
The NKBV is a member of the multilateral agreement of reciprocal rights to smelters , and has been a UIAA member since 1932 and a member of the EUMA since 2017 . Robbert Leopold has been an honorary member of the UIAA since 2000 . Frits Vrijlandt has been President of the UIAA since 2012 .
