Neferkaure , also Nefer-kau-Re , was an ancient Egyptian king ( pharaoh ) of the 8th Dynasty ( First Intermediate Period ).

The name of the king is mentioned in the list of kings in the temple of Sethos I in Abydos (No. 54), which is the name of the throne .

The assignment and identity of Neferkaure is viewed differently in Egyptology: According to Jürgen von Beckerath , it is possible that this king is identical with Neferkauhor Chuiuihapi , while William C. Hayes and Farouk Gomaà equate him with Wadjkare .
