Neferkauhor Chuiuihapi , also Nefer-kau-Hor Chuiui Hapi , was an ancient Egyptian king ( pharaoh ) of the 8th Dynasty ( First Intermediate Period ).

The king's proper name and throne name are documented in this form in the list of kings in the temple of Seti I in Abydos (No. 55).

history

The " Koptos Decrees " date from his reign . These describe the appointment of Schemai as vizier of Upper Egypt and his son Idi as his deputy and head of the seven southern districts . According to another edict , Shemai married the king's daughter named Nebet. A false door has been preserved from her, a so-called naos from Schemai himself .

The king is also mentioned in the tomb of Schemai near Coptus . There a representation appears on a wall that shows the bringing of a stone from the Wadi Hammamat . The inscriptions name the 1st year of Neferkauhor. After the inscription on the scene, the work in Wadi Hammamat was completed within 19 days.
