Nelly Ciobanu (born October 28, 1974 in Cania , Moldovan SSR , USSR ) is a Moldovan singer.

She attended the Tiraspol University of Music and appeared for the first time in 1993 as a singer together with her brother as the duo "Master Dinamit". Since 1998 she sang at various international music competitions, including in Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and North Korea.

In the Moldovan preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 she took second place. Four years later she won and therefore represented her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow with the song "Hora din Moldova" (German: "Dance from Moldau"). In the victory of the Norwegian Alexander Rybak , she finished 14th.
