Nelson Lee

Nelson Lee (born October 16, 1975 in Taipei , Taiwan ) is a Canadian actor of Taiwanese origin. He gained fame primarily through his role as Shen in the US science fiction series Blade - The Hunt Goes On .

Life

Born in the capital of the island republic of Taiwan, Lee grew up in Canada, spent almost all of his youth there, and from 1993 attended the University of Toronto Schools and the University of Toronto . In 1995 he went on a student exchange and spent a year in the town of Swansea , South Wales . After returning to Canada, he did his bachelor's degree and moved to the United States , where he attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) from 1998 . In 2001 he left private drama school with an associate degree , more precisely with the associate of arts degree , one of three different categories.

He had his first notable television appearance in 2001, when he got a role in the series Law & Order and its first offshoot Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, among others .
