Nemanja Radulović

Nemanja Radulović (born October 18, 1985 in Niš , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian violinist .

Life

At the age of seven he started playing the violin in his hometown Niš in southern Serbia . Radulović studied at the Faculty of Performing Arts in Belgrade and at the Saar University of Music in Saarbrücken with Joshua Epstein . At the age of 14 he was admitted to the prestigious Paris Conservatory . He also took part in master classes from Yehudi Menuhin , Joshua Epstein, Dejan Mihailović and Salvatore Accardo .

He received the first major attention after his debut with the Orchester Philarmonique de Radio France as a substitute for Maxim Vengerov in 2006 with Beethoven's violin concerto. He later played with many prestigious orchestras, including the Munich Philharmonic , the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover , the Stuttgart Philharmonic , the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra , the Orchester National de Belgique, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.

After six records with Transart and Art Act, Radulović is now under contract with the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft and has released two albums under this label.
