Fábio Camilo de Brito , called Nenê , (born June 6, 1975 in São Paulo , Brazil ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

At the age of ten he started playing soccer in the youth of CA Juventus in São Paulo . There the defender finally made the leap into the professional team and ultimately also into the Brazilian national soccer team , for which he appeared five times in 1995.

After he moved to city rivals Guarani FC in 1996 , the first foreign station followed two years later with Sporting Lisbon . There he could not prevail and was only allowed to play four times in the league. He then returned to his native country and played for the traditional clubs EC Bahia , Corinthians and Grêmio from Porto Alegre in southern Brazil for the next three years . Since Grêmio was in financial difficulties, the club's management tried to sell Nenê and offered the player u. a. in Europe.

After a trial session, Nenê received a one-year contract with Hertha BSC , which played in the first Bundesliga. In Berlin he was convincing in sport, but fell out with repeated muscular problems, so that he was denied the jump to the starting eleven and he only got 10 games; his contract was not renewed. He left Europe and returned to Brazil for the second time as he signed with EC Vitória from the city of Salvador da Bahia .

In 2004 he moved to the top Japanese team Urawa Red Diamonds , with whom he won the Japanese championship in 2006 and the AFC Champions League the following year . From 2008 he played one season each for Coritiba FC and EC Juventude from the southern Brazilian city of Caxias do Sul .

After signing with CA Bragantino in February 2010 , he moved to Grêmio Esportivo Osasco and in the same year to União Futebol Clube , where he ended his career in late 2011.
