Nenad Kljaić (born December 21, 1966 in Zagreb , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian handball player and current coach .

Athletic career

Kljaić's career began with RK Medveščak Zagreb . Then he moved to Badel Zagreb . In 1994 he played in the handball Bundesliga for TV Großwallstadt . After six years with Lower Franconia, he returned to Badel Zagreb in 2000. In Zagreb Kljaić ended his active career and began his career as a coach. From 2006 to 2007 he was a trainer at RK Zagreb. He was replaced by Lino Červar . In March 2009, Kljaić was again head coach at RK Zagreb as the successor to Senjanin Maglajlija .

He was appointed coach of the Saudi Arabian men's national handball team in September 2012 .

As a player, Kljaić made 170 international appearances for Croatia . Nenad Kljaić is the son of Velimir Kljaić .
