The Nerodimka ( Albanian Nerodimja / Nerodimë , Serbian Неродимка Nerodimka ) is a river in the countryside Kosovo Polje in Kosovo .
The river measures 41 kilometers, it drains an area of 229 square kilometers and is not navigable. The Nerodimka is created by the confluence of two mountain streams from the Nerodimka Mountain and the Carraleva Mountain. Then it flows northwards past the villages of Jezerc , Nerodima e Epërme and Nerodima e Poshtme .
Bifurcation
To the east of Nerodima e Poshtme the river “divides”: the smaller stream flowing northwards goes through the corridor of Prelez i Jerlive and flows into a tributary of the Sitnica just southwest of the neighboring town of Mirash . The larger part that drains to the southeast is now called Lepenac . The Lepenac flows west past the town of Ferizaj and flows into the Vardar near Skopje .
The catchment areas of the Adriatic , Aegean and Black Sea meet at the main European watershed near Nerodima e Poshtme on the Crnoljeva ridge at 1364 meters above the Adriatic Sea . As hydrographic feature in Kosovo Polje that occurs bifurcation of Nerodimka at ( location ), which over the Sitnica, a orographic right tributary of the Ibar , drained into the Black Sea and the Lepenac as a true left tributary of Vardar in the Aegean Sea.
