Nesow is a district of the town of Rehna in the district of Northwest Mecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany).

geography

Nesow is located between the small towns of Rehna and Gadebusch and extends from the Radegast floodplain up to the hills about 50 m higher in a westerly direction. Part of the North Sea-Baltic Sea watershed is also located here . From a spacious perspective, Nesow is about halfway between Schwerin and Lübeck .

The district of Nesow Dorf belongs to Nesow.

history

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipality Nesow, Hof (also Hof Nesow) was incorporated.

On May 25, 2014 Nesow was incorporated into Rehna.

Culture and sights

The white stork nesting here is an indicator of the largely intact nature around Nesow .

Next to a manor house you can find a tombstone of the von Bülow family in the small community .

Transport links

Located directly on the Bundesstraße 104 and with the rail connection in neighboring Rehna, Nesow has good supra-regional transport connections.
