The New Apostolic Church in the district town of Meiningen is a modern church built in 2000. The church is the center of the Meiningen congregation of the New Apostolic District Church of Saxony / Thuringia, which belongs to the administrative area of the New Apostolic Church of Central Germany . The community leader is Wolfgang Franz.

Building

The New Apostolic Church was inaugurated with a divine service on February 20, 2000 after only five months of construction. The building is located in the east of the city center on the busy Neu-Ulmer-Straße . Previously, the community was just one block away in a city villa in the Schöne Aussicht. The villa no longer met the requirements of the community, so a modern prefabricated church was built, financed by donations . The prefabricated parts were specially designed and manufactured by the manufacturer for this church. The church has colored glazed church windows on the north and south sides, offers 160 seats, an organ, a mother-child area and wheelchair-accessible access.
