New studio stage

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Neue Studiobühne e. V. is an association of theater enthusiasts that was brought to life by Joachim Wolf. This theater group had existed as a studio stage since 1991 and was renamed to “Neue Studiobühne” in Baiersbronn and became a registered association with the first large open-air theater project - “ Joseph Süss Oppenheimer ” or “Justizmord in Stuttgart” by Karl-Heinz Schmitt . Since this first open-air performance in the summer of 2001 on the square near Kirche im Oberdorf in Baiersbronn, the Neue Studiobühne has pushed ahead with other theater projects, mostly in the open air:

At the beginning of 2008, the “Neue Studiobühne” and two other theater groups were nominated for the Oskarle , the Mundartheater-Preis-Baden-Württemberg, and awarded the special jury prize for the play “Morlok.Mythos.Mädesüß.”.

In addition to the Baiersbronn Oberdorf, the venues are also the “Schramberger Grub” - the area of the Mitteltal shooting club and the Black Forest Hall. The newly designed cloister courtyard in Klosterreichenbach has been the scene of the action since 2011 .

In March 2013 Joachim Wolf, director, 1st chairman and creative head of the Neue Studiobühne received the badge of honor from the state of Baden-Württemberg . Joachim Wolf died unexpectedly in January 2014 at the age of 72. Since then Otto Gaiser has taken over the chairmanship of the association. Stefanie Bauer was able to be won over to direct the Loriot evening and the summer play "Das Kaffeehaus". In the anniversary year 2016, in which the studio stage celebrated its 25th anniversary, Rob Doornbos directed the summer theater. In 2017 the Neue Studiobühne staged two plays: In the spring, the play "Frau Müller muss weg", directed by Stefanie Bauer, toured very successfully at various schools in the area. The summer theater returned in 2017 with the play "Antonia" on the square in front of the museum in Baiersbronn Oberdorf, directed by Rob Doornbos.

In 2018 the Neue Studiobühne pauses with the open-air theater and enters the two-year cycle. In autumn 2018, Daniela Burkhardt will conduct the play "Blütenträume" at various venues in the Baiersbronn area. In the summer of 2019, "Ronja the robber's daughter" will be performed at the Glashütte in Baiersbronn-Buhlbach, directed by Burkhardt. The Neue Studiobühne is a member of the Baden-Württemberg Amateur Theater Association .
