Neuehütte is a district of the Brandenburg municipality of Chorin and belongs to the Britz-Chorin-Oderberg district . In 2008 the forest village had 125 inhabitants.

history

Neuehütte was formally founded in 1798 by the municipality and monastery Chorin , who wanted to build a glassworks here. Both founders gave land for the 11.5 hectare community area. A watermill on the Ragöse and several forest blacksmiths that used the watermill to practice their craft already existed in this area .

The place Neuehütte was incorporated into the municipality of Chorin on September 27, 1998.
