Neumond is the 14th studio album by German singer Joachim Witt . It was released on April 25, 2014 on the Oblivion ( SPV ) label. The music was mostly by Martin Engler, the singer rock band Dark of Mono Inc. posted. The tracks My Heart and The Earth Burns were released as singles.

The album was in the German charts for four weeks. As the highest ranking, it reached eighth place on May 9, 2014.
In the laut.de review, Artur Schulz rated the album Neumond as “Pop of the better quality”. It stands out positively from the “narrow-track esotericism” of the previous album Dom and is “despite all the dark flair, more relaxed and always driving forward”. Instead of too much pathos, Witt relies on pop hymns like Dein Lied and “catchy, danceable beats” like in the song Mein Herz .
Christian Reipen from monkeypress.de criticized the fact that the album was not immediately tangible after listening to it for the first time, but it did come out with “twelve melodic, danceable songs with demanding lyrics full of emotions”. Particularly to be noted positively with the pieces Strandgut and Mein Herz , according to Reipen, is the location "Witt's distinctly deep throat voice above the rich bass and the partly spherical sound structures".
Thoralf Koß from musikreviews.de credited the album for its uncompromising attitude. Witt remains "true to himself and his successfully presented, national-pride-pathetic horror pop, which ranges from Enigma to E-Nomine to Rammstein ." He did almost everything right with this album.
trip
Joachim Witt presented the album on a Germany tour in March / April 2014. The opening act was Andreas Stitz aka Leichtmatrose with his new EP Jonny found his luck with the stars . The tour led to the old slaughterhouse in Dresden , the market hall in Hamburg , the Cologne Live Music Hall and ended in the Matrix Bochum .
