Neuwald is part of the community Aspangberg-St. Peter in Lower Austria.

The district consisting of the village of Mariensee , the scattered settlements of St. Peter am Wechsel , Außenerneuwald, Innerneuwald and Mitterneuwald as well as numerous individual layers is located to the northeast on the slope of the Hochwechsel and then in the valley of the Großer Piestingbach .
