The year is 1849. During the gold rush , the Irish carpenter and undertaker Patrick Tate lives with his family on the outskirts of a town in the borderland . It's a tough but relatively peaceful place until Dutch Albert and his gang in the area take the law into their own hands and kill anyone who opposes them. Patrick Tate plays a dangerous game and benefits from the chaos caused by the outlaws . However, it is only a matter of time before his own blood could be shed.

The shooting took place in autumn 2017 in Luxembourg and Ireland , where, among other things, outdoor shots were made in Connemara . Piers McGrail acted as cameraman .
The film celebrated its international premiere on July 14, 2019 as the graduation film of the Galway Film Fleadh. It was released in cinemas in Ireland and the United Kingdom on August 23, 2019.
