Neville Andre

Neville Andre-Itope (* 1979 or 1980 in Walvis Bay , South West Africa ) is a Namibian politician and governor of the Erongo region .

Andre finished school in Walvis Bay before moving to the capital, Windhoek . There he studied political science and history at the University of Namibia and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree . Andre completed further studies at Harvard University in the United States and at Stellenbosch University in South Africa .

Andre was politically active at a young age and joined the SWAPO youth league . He was cabinet secretary for 12 years . Andre was installed as governor by President Hage Geingob on April 7, 2020 .

Andre is married and has two children. He has won numerous bodybuilding competitions.
