The New Harbor (German: Neuhafen ) is a bay 16 kilometers wide between Cape Bernacchi and Butter Point on the east coast of the Antarctic Victoria Land on McMurdo Sound . It is the mouth of the Ferrar Glacier . The headland of Baker Point is on the south side of the entrance to Explorers Cove in New Harbor.

The bay was discovered and named by participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott in search of an anchorage far south for the expedition ship RSS Discovery .
