When the head of the brutal and largest criminal organization in South Korea called "Goldmoon" dies, the fight for his successor begins. Two gang bosses try with all means to take his place and do not shy away from any brutality. The special police force is using this to increase its influence in the syndicate .
That's why the young policeman Ja-Sung is supposed to be smuggled into the cartel and work undercover there. But Ja-Sung slowly develops sympathy for the gangster Jeong Cheong and finds himself in a conflict between loyalty and the instinct of self-preservation. Disappointed and abandoned by the police, who refused to let him resign, Ja-Sung orders the murder of his superior Kang and police officer Ko. Ja-Sung decides against the police and for the crime and tries to remove the traces of his membership in the police.
