Nganda is a town in the department of Kaffrine the Kaffrine region , located in the south of the center of Senegal .
Geographical location
Nganda is located south of the Kaffrine department and seven kilometers from the border with Gambia . The area belongs to the central peanut growing area of Senegal, the peanut basin .
Nganda is located 241 kilometers southeast of Dakar and 33 kilometers south of the Kaffrine regional prefecture .
history
The village of Nganda gained commune (city) status in 2008. The urban area extends, measured from the official seat of the Sous-Préfet , a certain number of kilometers in all four directions. This resulted in a calculated urban area of 22.75 km².

Nganda is off the network of national roads . A dust track from Kaffrine , which ends behind the Nganda through-town, provides a connection to the N 1 . On the way it leads through the river bed of the Grand Bao Bolon ; which only has water at this point in the rainy season .
