Nick Hendrix (as Nicholas James Stewart ; born March 19, 1985 in Ascot , Berkshire ) is a British actor .

Life

Hendrix was born and raised in Ascot near Windsor in Berkshire. After his school education, he first studied acting at Exeter University . He then continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for three more years until he successfully graduated there. This was followed by some engagements as a stage actor at various London theaters, such as B. the National Theater and the West End Theater , where he appeared in various roles. Hendrix made his film and television debut in 2011 in the British television series Silk - Robes of Silk in a supporting role as Peter. He then worked in a smaller role in the film Captain America: The First Avenger as Army Heckler and starred in the films Red Tails , Legend and Suffragette - Actions Instead of Words . He had other appearances in the subsequent episode in the television series Black Mirror , George Gently - The incorruptible , Medics , The White Queen , Marcella , Foyle's War and The Crown .

Hendrix was most recently known since 2016 in the British film series Inspector Barnaby for his role as DS Jamie Winter, whom he has played there since the beginning of season 19.
