A move aimed at in the summer of 2012 came to nothing when Granatowski tore a cruciate ligament in May , instead he received a new two-year contract with Wolfsburg. For the 2017/2018 season , Granatowski first signed a one-year contract with third division club SV Meppen , which was extended for another year in 2018.
In the summer of 2019, the midfielder left Meppen and moved to the second division promoted VfL Osnabrück . During the first half of the season, Granatowski made four league appearances.
