As a result, Hensley was signed by the US ice hockey association USA Hockey , while she was working as an assistant coach at her alma mater . At the 2017 World Cup , Hensley became a regular in the goal of the US girls and played three of the five matches. With the lowest number of goals conceded and the highest catch rate of all goalkeepers, she played a major role in winning the gold medal again. Her next international tournament was the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , where she slipped back into second rank behind Maddie Rooney . Nevertheless, she celebrated winning the gold medal with the Americans at the end of the tournament.
