Nicole Steingaß

Nicole Steingaß (born July 13, 1979 in Grünstadt ) is a German political official . Since March 2019 she has been State Secretary in the Ministry of the Interior and for Sport in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Life

Steingaß took after her Abitur at the high school Weierhof at Thunder Mountain (1998), a study of political science , of Public Law and Sociology at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz on which they as a 2005 Master of Arts graduated. In 2005 she worked for the SPD Baden-Württemberg for the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2006 , before she worked in the office of the state parliament member Rudolf Franzmann until the end of the 13th electoral term of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .

In 2006, Steingaß became State Secretary Carsten Kühl's personal advisor in the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economics, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture , and in 2009 moved with him to the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Finance . In 2010 she returned as a speaker in the location marketing / ZIRP e. V. returned to the Ministry of Economics, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture of Rhineland-Palatinate, before becoming a consultant for parliamentary and cabinet matters in the Ministry of the Interior, Sport and Infrastructure Rhineland-Palatinate in 2011 . She held this position until she took over the management of this department in early 2015. In July 2015, Minister of State Roger Lewentz was promoted to head of the ministerial office .

On March 1, 2019, Steingaß was appointed as the successor to Günter Kern as State Secretary for the areas of state planning, municipal development, armed forces (especially the Rhineland-Palatinate police ) as well as constitutional law and legislation in the Ministry of the Interior and for Sport Rhineland-Palatinate.
