Nicolo Pasetti

Nicolo Pasetti (* 1991 in Berlin as Nicolò Bernardino Pasetti Bombardella ) is a German-Italian actor. Pasetti became known to an international audience through his role in the literary film adaptation of the bestselling novel Deine Juliet .

life and career

Even in elementary school when he played leading roles in school theater, such as Santa Claus, Pasetti is said to have had the first desire to become an actor.

Although his parents would have wished for a plan B from Pasetti , in case the dream of becoming an actor should fail, Pasetti insisted on pursuing this career. For this reason, after graduating from high school in 2011, he began studying acting at the renowned "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . Pasetti's first screen appearance came in 2015 when he starred alongside Thomas Sarbacher and André Hennicke in the cinema adaptation of the stage classic Solness . In the following years, Pasetti played various roles in German film and television, such as Rico, Oscar and the Diebstahlstein or Lenin, the Germans and the murder of the tsar . In 2016 he played the famous New York City Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia in Kai Christiansen's film The Dream of the New World . In 2017, Nicolo Pasetti was cast as the German soldier Christian Hellmann, alongside Hollywood stars like Lily James and Michiel Huisman , in the literary film adaptation Deine Juliet , staged by director Mike Newell . In 2018 Pasetti shot a series about the notorious German rock band Frei.Wild , in which he plays the front man Philipp Burger .
