Niedermehlen is a district of the local community Gondenbrett in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Niedermehlen is located in the valley of the Mehlenbach , which flows past the eastern edge of the village. The L 17 runs through the town. Neighboring towns are Obermehlen in the north, the main town of Gondenbrett in the north-east, Tafel and Prüm in the west and Steinmehlen in the south-west . In addition, the place is in the Schneifel .
history
On June 7, 1969, the previously independent communities of Niedermehlen and Obermehlen were merged to form the new community of Mehlen near Prüm . This became part of the newly formed community Gondenbrett on January 1, 1971.
