The Lower Saxony Asparagus Museum in Nienburg / Weser is a publicly owned regional museum . It is part of the Nienburg Museum, which is spread over several locations .

In 2005 it was opened on the Lower Saxony Asparagus Route . It is a special museum that provides information about the cultivation, harvest, processing, distribution and marketing of asparagus . It documents 120 years of asparagus history in the Nienburg area, also representing other important asparagus regions in Lower Saxony such as Braunschweig and Burgdorf .

Historical machines, tools and accessories and other testimonies from Nienburg's asparagus-processing plants are on display in a converted farmhouse.
