Twisters - The night of the cyclones (English original title: Night of the Twisters ) is a Canadian-American disaster film from 1996.

action

A series of tornadoes devastated the small town of Blainsworth in a single night . 15-year-old Dan and a friend go looking for his parents and grandmother. Although he does not yet have a driver's license, he steals a car and breaks a barrier. As a result of this risk, he finds his stepfather, Jack, trapped under a car. He also finds his grandmother and can bring her to safety; she was only slightly injured. Jack dislocated his arm but was otherwise uninjured; Jack and Dan are now looking for Dan's mother together. She is also already looking for her two sons and her husband in front of their collapsed house. Finally, the family finds themselves safely back together in exactly this place when Jack drives the car to the house.

Dan couldn't stand his stepfather before. But Jack now only has words of praise for Dan and is proud of him. As a result, the two are reconciled, and the family is now welded even closer together due to the disaster that has been overcome.

The next day the residents begin to rebuild their city.
