Niklas Heyser (born September 9, 1989 ) is a German summer biathlete in the cross-country style.

Niklas Heyser had his first major international appearance at the Junior Summer Biathlon World Championship in Ufa , where he was 18th in the sprint and 20th in the pursuit. With the junior mixed relay, he finished sixth. In 2007 he won the overall ranking of the IBU Junior European Cup. At the 2008 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Haute-Maurienne , France , he won the bronze medal in the junior sprint behind Anuzar Yunusov and Rinat Gilazov. In the pursuit competition he finished 5th. At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2009 in Nové Město na Moravě , he was able to occupy a fifth place in the juniors in the sprint and mass start. At the 2010 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Osrblie , Heyser was fifth in the sprint race and pursuit in the juniors, and sixth in the sprint race with Thordis Arnold , Lena Schäfer , Hendrik Redeker .

At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell , Heyser took part in an international men's championship for the first time. He was 16th in the sprint and 13th in the pursuit race.

At German championships from 2006 to 2010, Heyser won a total of seven gold medals and eight silver medals. He starts for WSV Oberhof 05 and is trained by Peter Knauth. The student lives in Nieste .
